Black Tie Tiki Holiday Party

Hey folks! The holidays are almost here, and boy oh boy, have we been busy little elves! We had a blast last weekend with our Dart Collective pals putting on our annual collaborative holiday party for our amazing vendor friends. It thrills us to no end to not only help bring this 'office party' to fruition every year, but to work along side such amazing and talented people. We can't wait to share photos!Here is last year's "Black Tie Tiki" shindig, inspired by Dart's newest ensemble Arthur And The Whispers, a tiki worthy vibraphone trio. Aesthetically we opted for a fresh take on tiki that featured all the fun and kitsch but with an air of sophistication. Think rattan and wood with bright and bold colors, an interactive photobooth installation courtesy of Prim and Pixie, several live music acts and a dance floor under a brightly colored flower chains and a hanging flamingo installation that we put together with the help of Siren Floral Co. We love this party because it gives us an opportunity to design for ourselves and come up with installations that are totally crazy and outside the box. So when our concept for the vendor credit wall required chopping the heads off of 16 lawn flamingos, there was no one to stop us!
